How to Nail It!

More and more your fingertips (and toes) can speak volumes about your style, personality and pizazz! With so many shades, shapes and nail “wear” to choose from, it’s hard to navigate the nail

Lots of new nail polishes and intriguing techniques are popping up to give you the look that everyone will look at! Why not make it a point to make a bold fashion statement …turn up the heat with a daring new nail shape for starters? Pointy-stiletto nails are still going strong and can swiftly put you on the cutting edge! Top them off with glittery, new metallic topcoats that can transform any color polish into something extraordinary. You can layer it on over any polish for an updated, edgy appeal.

Many girls (myself included) are lusting over the sea of blue shades to choose from. One of my favorites: this cobalt, blue hue from Floss Gloss.

If you want to tone down and complement your daring stiletto look, you can always go with this soothing “Peace Green” from YSL..summer enchantment with the calming name on a hectic day! Just looking at your hands will leave you zen-like and stress-free.

Texture adds interest to simple neutral and bare look polishes. (which I always tend to gravitate toward). I just love the understated lace look – with its 3-D pop. Want more of a “wow factor” add on a few rhinestones for a bold bling that will make you seen and be heard.

Don’t just stop at color. How about an interesting pattern to change up your style? Sometimes tried and true patterns can show off your nails to your advantage. Look toward a simple black and white chevron pattern to highlight your sun-kissed look.

Or go with a fanciful approach…believe it or not, animal prints are still the rage so go for the wild side with leopard paired with a touch of peach.
