Concert Craze!

It’s time to bust a move! (And maybe a note or two also!) Spring and summer are fast approaching and it’s time to get snow and ice out of your thoughts and feast your eyes on the prize…let’s gear up concert crazy because this season is jam-packed with a bonanza of variety!

Billy Joel has been holding court at Madison Square Garden for-EVER, and still plays to a sold out show every time he’s there. Lucky for us, there are a few dates still available to choose from – every time I see him I’m thrilled to hear my favorites…”Only the Good Die Young,” “Piano Man,” and only about a million more to look forward to! He’s there March 3rd, April 14th, May 25th, and June 6th…but I wouldn’t wait too long to line something up!

Seems like I’ve been waiting my entire life (or at least since my college days in the mid-90’s) – hoping for a U2 Joshua Tree Tour and now my wishes have been granted! They’ll be appearing at the Meadowlands on June 28th and 29th..songs that resonate in my heart and mind…”With or Without You,” “One,” and “Beautiful Day.” Wow, what a thrilling evening that will be! Grab someone who means a lot to you and GO!

Chicago and the Doobie Brothers team up for an exciting musical mix too! You might have to look a little harder to find them, but I’ll save you some time and effort! I have it on good record that they’ll be appearing in Camden, New Jersey on July 21st and Holmdel, New Jersey on July 23rd. I just love, love “Saturday in the Park!” I like to keep my praise low-key, but, that tune is my all-time favorite happy song!!

Lady Gaga is setting out on her much-touted worldwide Joanne Tour and we’re so fortunate to be able to catch her at Citi Field in New York on August 27th. Tickets are hard to come by so you must be on the ball for this one (get it… her unforgettable Super Bowl performance?) I love all her songs and I’m sure this concert will not disappoint.

I would love to hear everyone’s opinions on the concerts they’re dying to go to this year!  Share your thoughts in the comments!
