Adidas Addiction

My name is Mindie Barnett – and I am an addict. I admit it. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t do anything with ease. I am easy-going but once I’ve fallen in love with a look or in this case a fashion movement – I dive right in! In most cases head-first.

So, it shouldn’t be surprising to know that while Adidas first make a comeback in the women’s market a few years ago – it’s going strong now not only in the specialty stores but in my closet! And I’m not alone.  Lots of celebs are sporting the iconic brand too – it’s just another example of how the past is catching up with the present and taking on a whole new life if its own.

Can you say track suit? I say twice is just as nice!  Once a long-gone “thing” to throw on for downtime, now it’s morphed into my first choice of the day.  Lots of colors and styles and if you pair with some strappy heels – you can even wear it out for a night with your crew!

And check out this “ID Twist and Turn Wrap,” which is a reversible and can be worn in a multitude of ways over any pair of jeans or wide-legged trousers. Versatility is the name of the game here. Cocoon yourself after practice or during the workday. The loose silhouettes can be worn four ways whether upside down or inside out.  It’s made with fabric that has a bit of stretch to it and the sleek, minimalist look reverses to reveal a softer side and ribbed cuffs.

Forward-looking and bright-looking – that’s the theme for these amazing color choices that will turn your penchant for a comfy jogging suit into a sweet reality.  Neon greens, aqua and pinks will keep you on your toes this spring.  And of course, you can’t go wrong with the traditional grey and black hues either. emblazoned with the catchy and uber-recognizable Adidas logo emblazoned across the front and down the back and leg.

A more traditional and simple black tracksuit is also on spot, complete with three stripe styling touches.   Your choice! Just add some sunlight and you’ll be good to go for all your warmer weather activities, indoors or out!
