Polished Prints

My insta saying is that I’m the “Polished Princess” so anything with pizazz and power in the fashion space is a love of mine – natch!

I’ve assembled a collection of seriously mad prints that will have you pushing fashion to the limit and having limitless fun doing it!  If you eagerly embrace big florals, bright colors and emboldened graphics, you’ll agree that these guaranteed attention getters are right up your alley.  We’ve all seen a renewed passion for retro across all fashion fields and the energy of the art world and advances in digital printing allows (and encourages!) spring’s patterns that let you celebrate your individuality with great joy.

Stella McCartney’s trendy tropical print boasts a bold punch which will leave you covered from head to toe. Go right to Farfetch.com for this gem! Startling visuals and relaxed silhouettes are the key to pulling this off, and for once, take a chance at letting your accessories come second.  While red lips are always welcomed, nude is nice, too, as an experiment in contrast.

Love, love this versatile Vince Camuto tank full of uber-interesting earthy, snake-print patterns, which are set off by the sunniest of yellows. It’s versatile and edgy! You can toss it on with anything too.  In easy care polyester chiffon, you can find it at vincecamuto.com.

How can you turn your back on this amazing Milly skirt in bold royal blue set off by black scribble print …across the board, a real hit in wool at millyny.com…complete with a black banded waistband – you can feel free to wear it to work or for fun. Check out Rent the Runway for this one.

How to describe these Philip Lim 3.1 pants?  They are sweet and silly in a soft white/blue/mauve silk print that is indescribable!! Try them on and you won’t be taking them off anytime soon.

And you simply MUST grab this silk Rag and Bone bright yellow print top.

Couldn’t resist this simple cascading look in Twinkle by Wenlan..great short cocktail dress…cascading flow from black to white to mustard has it all covered beautifully…with charming swans randomly thrown in for good measure! In silk crepe de chine it’s available right now at shopping.twinkleliving.com.

Top it all off with your bottoms!  The way to rock this looks is simple and less is more. You can wear these comfy satin Lela Rose for Payless flats in a multitude of prints and have money left over to take yourself to lunch when you tire of shopping—is that even possible?

When in doubt, head over to Neiman Marcus to see what they have in store for you for this upcoming warm weather…Yes ‘tis the season to party!  And not a minute too soon.  I found these amazing Marchesa Notte dresses to elevate your evening with floral embroidery and sequins…and we can all use a bit of that after this past winter.

Choose from this floral off-the-shoulder, embroidered gown in gorgeous shades or the more subdued floral embroidered, tiered gown with deep V-accent!

Go sexy and demure with this hazy blue and blush ombré embroidered halter gown, an exclusive with NM.

Whatever you decide, you simply can’t make the wrong choice if you’re zeroing in on fashions and fabrics that take prints to the ninth degree, no matter what degree the thermometer is indicating.  You’ll be pleasantly “haute” this spring!
