I’m absolutely loving the haute trend of athleisure wear!! It’s true! You can be comfy and cute! You just need to know how to pull it off seamlessly and look chic, stylish, sophisticated – even posh! Have your doubts about being able to hit all those high notes? Then you don’t know ME–I’ll have you showcasing it and then some in no time at all and leaving everyone in your wake.

Recently I caught up with Valerie Sanders, the maven of the new bohemian-inspired boutique aptly dubbed “Haute Mama – The Store.” Newly opened in Marlton, New Jersey it’s a curated boutique modeled after Montauk’s own Surf Bazaar. Where else could you find collections of everyday athleisure wear running the gamut from fun bohemian beach frocks to rompers – all the way to unique one of a kind bags and accessories? There’s really no way to describe it except to say it’s an amalgam of yoga, motherhood, sprinkled in with some fashionista flare. Valerie pulls it all together in one exciting venue–just come in, browse and enjoy the selection. No stranger to the fashion industry, she also made a name for herself with her pop-up shops in Lifestyle Athletics in the Tri-state area and now brings her knowledge and experience to her independent boutique.

Leaving winter, heading into spring and summer, I absolutely love the chameleon effect of transitioning and choosing the clothes and styles that make that move easy and comfortable. Haute Mama – the Store is filled with all the chicest looks: NiyamaSol, Strut-This, Tricia Fix, Recycled Karma, Hallow and Plank, People’s Project LA – just to name a few.
